MTR is the main public transport network in Hong Kong. I used watercolour to create an illustration to celebrate the 40th anniversary of MTR, using the concept of a suitcase as a metaphor for traveling by MTR train. The opened suitcase shows 4 photos representing the remarkable historical moments of the different railway lines over the past 40 years.
Meanwhile, the MTR map is drawn with different colours and trains representing different railway lines crossing each other, showing the convenience and customer's enjoyment of taking the MTR to travel to different places, such as Tsim Sha Tsui, Wong Tai Sin Temple, Yau Ma Tei Fruit Market.
